Current ATISA Board

Meet the Board

As a way to get involved and to give back to the organization and the translation and interpreting studies community, members in good standing can stand for election for several positions in the organization.

OUR HISTORY

20 Years and Counting

ATISA was founded in 2002 by a group of primarily U.S.-based researchers interested in fostering the study of translation and interpreting in its many forms. Now in its 20th year, the organization is an established community of scholars dedicated to advancing the field in the U.S. and abroad.

Elections

ATISA is run and supported by colleagues who volunteer their expertise and time to serve on the executive board. These positions are elected from ATISA members in good standing for a two-year term. Elections are not currently underway, but keep an eye on this space in the future for opportunities to participate in the organization.
